microsoft office download versionWhere to download Microsoft Office (The older version) for free?

I heard that you can download the older version of Microsoft Office legally, for free somewhere. I think even on the Microsoft website. I only really want the older version though.

Is this true? If so, could I have the link to the download page?

Thanks!
Unfortunately there are no free downloads of MS Office available, only trail versions, but they don't last very long. :(

But if you are looking for something free and just as good, you should rather have a look at SSuite Office for a free office suite. Their software also doesn't nmicrosoft office download versioneed to run on Java or .NET, like MS Office and so many open source office suites, so it makes their software very small, efficient, and very easy to use.

Hi Sam,

You can download the 60-day trial for Microsoft Office 2007. However, when the trial expires you will have to purchase the software in order to continue using it. Here is the link to the download:

I hope this helps!

No, this is not true.

You can however download Openoffice, which is an open source Office suite that is compatible with Microsoft Office.

Sorry, this is untrue. Microsoft doesn't allow free downloads of any version of MS Office, no matter how old.

You can download Open Office for free - it's an open source office suite with similar functionality.
No. Not true!

Only way to download an older version is by doing it illegally.
